Prof. Jemal Antidze

Prof. Jemal Antidze received his PhD degree in Software for Computers and Systems from the Tbilisi State University (TSU) in 1966 and was head of The Systemic Programming Department of I.Vekua Scientific Institute of Applied Mathematics of TSU from 1973 till 2006. He received diploma of Senior Scientist in Software Engineering from TSU in 1978. He was Director of Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technology of the Sokhumi State University in 2011. Now, he is Scientific Director of the research project “Pattern calculus with hedge variables” at TSU. His current scientific interest lies in the area of software engineering, formal grammars and computer linguistics. By his supervision many research projects were realized (grants of INTAS, Soros foundation, Eurasia foundation and Georgian National Foundation). Under his supervision 7 PhD students received PhD degree. He is an expert of UNESCO, senior member of IACSIT, editor in-chief of LNSE, member of Scientific Council of I.Vekua Scientific Institute of Applied Mathematics, TSU.
