Dr. Lin Huang is teaching in Engineering Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver with a specialty in biometrics, signal processing and computer vision. Dr. Huang was born in Luoyang, China. She graduated at Hangzhou Dianzi University where she received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1992. She received an M.S. in Micro-Electronics (1997) from Fudan University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2010) from Florida Atlantic University. She worked at Integrated Circuit Computer-aided Engineering Research Institute (ICCAE) of Hangzhou Dianzi University from 1992 to 1994. She joined HDTV Research Institute at Shanghai Jiaotong University from 1997 to 1999. She also worked at Avant! Corp. in Shanghai in 1999. In 2010, she served Sonavation Inc. as a consultant for fingerprint recognition. Then she joined Metropolitan State University of Denver as an assistant professor. Dr. Huang is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). She is an active reviewer for some conferences and journals. Currently, she is the editor-in-chief for International Journal of Machine Learning and Computing (IJMLC).
